Multi-Modality 8 Session Therapist Supervision Group
Seeking Case Consultation and Community?
Join our 8 Session In-Person Multi-Modality Supervision Group
Meets Wednesdays 1:15 pm - 2:45 p.m. in Dupont Circle
October 7 - December 2
This 8-week group is for any clinician seeking a safe, validating space to discuss cases, learn new clinical skills, build a referral network, and gain greater confidence in running a private practice. Starting out on your own can feel like the wild west as you make countless decisions - clinical and practical. It can be lonely. And real life cases challenge our therapeutic frameworks and lead to doubt and confusion–no matter how many years of training you bring. The good news is that nothing can feel more grounding than gaining support from a group of therapists living the same reality.
We are currently recruiting for a maximum of 6 LICSWs, LPCs, LGSWs or LGPCs for a rich, fun, and supportive weekly supervision space this fall. Cost is $150 per session with a requirement to commit to all 8 90 min. sessions. Please reach out to ali@alijost.com and/or tony@tonybrunswick.com if you want to be one of the 6 members, and we will schedule time to meet with you.
Who are the group facilitators?
Ali Jost, LICSW is a Certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapist who has more than a decade of experience integrating body-based interventions into a traditional psychotherapy practice for adult individuals and couples. Ali is trained in EMDR, IFS, Positive Psychology, and psychodynamic therapy modalities that use the therapeutic relationship to heal trauma and attachment wounds. Ali is also an experienced clinical trainer who has supported hundreds of novice clinicians to deepen their skills and develop greater confidence in the work.
Tony Brunswick, LPC, transitioned into clinical work after 25 years in the non-profit sector. As a relationally and emotionally oriented therapist, Tony is trained in EFT, AEDP, and IFS and regularly integrates deepening modalities such as mindfulness, somatic awareness, and narrative practices to help individuals and couples stay grounded, process how stress lives in their body/s, heal what is hurting, and rewrite the stories and patterns that no longer serve them.
The 8 week group will help you to:
Gain confidence in clarifying your therapeutic niche and launching your practice.
Grow your clinical skills; deepen treatment, practice new interventions, and support you through clinical impasses.
Expand your understanding of some of the logistical and practical considerations of starting a practice in the DMV.
Build your community of clinical peers by participating and broadening your professional and referral network within the DC/DMV therapy community.
Cost & Commitment:
We are asking participants to commit to all 8 sessions. Weekly 90 Minute Supervision Sessions are $150.
